"Fašinagy" - an event so typical for slovak folk. During winter it was a time of pleasure and good feast when there was no major work around the house an field. People still go out to streets to celebrate - often dressed in traditional masks representing mainly Turoň - the spirit of fertility - who wallows in the fields to bring the blessing of plentiful crop in the upcoming year.
